I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at Tufts University, passionate about Engineering education, robotics and product design. During my time in college, I've been involved with the Mechanical Engineering department, working as a Teaching Assistant for different introductory classes, such as Materials and Manufacturing, Mechanics and Electronics & Controls I. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Physics department, leading weekly lab sessions.
Leadership Experience
Outside of my major, I have been involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Tufts, serving as a Vicepresident on 2023-2024 and President during 2024-25. My biggest contributions as a part of the group were reinstating the SHPE membership as a chapter at Tufts and established relationships with companies in the area, securing funding for the SHPE National Conference, and providing networking and job opportunities for our members.Â
On another note, I have also worked as a Student intern at the Latinx Center since 2024. In 2025, I assumed a new role as a Lead intern, working closely with the full time staff at the center and leading a smaller Intern group. I have helped organizing over 25 events for the Latinx community on campus, improved the organization of the center's physical space and guided students on project planning and execution, besides acting as a mediator and communication person between the interns and the full time staff.
