This project was part of the Tufts Summer Scholars Program, a competitive undergraduate research scholarship that supported my work during Summer 2024. Through this program, I had the opportunity to independently design, build, and test my low-cost robotics kit while receiving mentorship from faculty in the Future Educational Technologies Lab.
I presented my findings at the Tufts Summer Scholars Research Symposium, where my poster,
“Designing Low-Cost Robotics Kits for Public Schools in Paraguay,”
highlighted the design process, challenges of implementing robotics in low-resource classrooms, and the educational potential of accessible technology.
